Robert Wright III

Managing Principal

Bob Wright is an organization development consultant and executive coach committed to helping organizations clarify and realize their missions, and to encouraging employees to bring more of who they are to what they do. In his role as a principal with the New England-based Panta Rei Consulting, Bob actively serves clients throughout the U.S. and around the globe. 

He assists corporations, government agencies and NGOs in developing and executing strategy, and in building effective managing processes that raise productivity across borders. He has designed and implemented leadership development and organizational change programs throughout North America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. His long-standing interest in the impact of organization culture on performance has led to research projects examining best practices for leading dispersed teams and for the development of global leaders. 

Bob also works with state and local governments, schools and non-profit organizations on quality management, work systems redesign, team performance initiatives, knowledge management, customer service and community planning efforts. Among his clients are Bose Corporation, Children and Families First, Christiana Care Health Services, Daimler, the Daniel Hanley Center for Health Leadership, the Delaware Healthcare Commission, The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, GlaxoSmithKline, Hitachi, Honda, The International Fund for Agricultural Development, Merck Research Labs, The Maine Association of Nonprofits (MANP), the National Institutes of Health, the Peace Corps, The Smithsonian Institution, The Student Conservation Association, the United Nations, the University of Pennsylvania, the US Department of State Foreign Service Institute, the World Health Organization, and numerous federal, state and local government agencies.

Having lived in Japan, Bob frequently works throughout East Asia. He has taught at Boston University School of Management, the State University of New York, the University of Delaware and Meiji Gakuin University in Tokyo. He has served on the International Certificate faculty of the Society of Human Resource Management, and is the author of Leading and Facilitating Global Teams. Annually, in Maine, Bob facilitates the Maine Association of Nonprofits Leadership Institute and the Hanley Center's Health Leadership Program. He holds a master's degree in Management from the School for International Training, where he concentrated on organization behavior, a bachelor’s degree in Anthroplogy and Intercultural Communication, and a Professional Coach certification with the International Coaching Federation. Bob’s other interests include carpentry, poetry and sailing.
